After a bad experience with a much more expensive mouse, I gave this one a try. The customization software was a little tricky and didn't recognize the mouse at first. Rebooting the PC solved this and no issue since. LEDs are moderately bright and show through the plastic shell well even in a well lit room. The woven cord is thick. Even thicker than more the expensive one I bought previously. This is perfect for the gamer on a budget.

First, thank you Amazon for actually paying attention to my delivery instructions and not leaving the package where it can get stolen. The package came earlier than projected and included everything I had ordered, so that's good.What's not so good is that I didn't get the mouse I ordered. The picture on the right is the image I selected when I placed my order three days ago. The image on the right is the mouse I received. I didn't want the Star Trek Beyond one, I wanted the one with the cool crackled texture and pink buttons because most of my gaming peripherals are pink. If you're completely out of that one I understand, but e-mail me or something to let me know you're substituting or refund my money, don't just throw in whatever you have available. IF the one I want is still available I would like it instead.That said I have plugged the mouse in (because the whole reason I ordered it was because my old Logitech just died on me) and so far it seems to run great, the LEDs are nice and bright and the body's plastic suffuses the light so it isn't blinding, it glides smoothly and doesn't have any issues with my dark-colored mousepad or desk surface and all the buttons seem to work. I like the mouse, I just would rather have gotten the one I ordered.

Recently built a new rig with a lot of RGB lighting and wanted a mouse that also showed off RGB effects. They have a white one, like the one I bought, and a black one. I decided to purchase the white one because I liked the way the colors came through better. I have included a short video of the RGB effects for your perusal.It is comfortable to use as well as looking fantastic. I have not programmed any of the buttons yet so I cannot say how easy that was. I can update this review if there is something worth mentioning later.

The mouse feels good in my hand, is very responsive, (adjustable) and is pretty!

Good looking mouse , but needs an updated driver the current one will not work so it will not control the lights.

Instead of getting the decal shown in the order, I was given a "Star Trek Beyond" mouse.
