Would Not Connect
1/19/19 Installed the Sumboat Wi-Fi Display Dongle was able to connect my cell phone to the TV but it stayed on the same set up screen with the display "Waiting For Connection" for over a half hour. I was never able to see my phone or PC screen on the TV. No clear instructions and I could not find any YouTube to troubleshoot the problem. I also even tried to unplug the power to reboot the unit. I ended up sending it back and purchased a Roku that has the capability to Screen Mirror.

It does miracast, but not very well.
I bought a iBosi Cheng Wireless Display Receiver HDMI Dongle over a week ago. It is awesome. Casts nearly perfectly from my android and windows devices. Although the screen occasionally pixelates or freezes, the overall performance is very good. I wanted a second dongle to keep with my laptop. I thought that this one, for an extra $10.00 would be better. It is not. The mouse on both the laptop and projected to screen is wonky and barely controllable. The cast to screen is also distorted. I did not try this dongle with my projector. This dongle already does not measure up to the Ibosi so why bother. Sumboat is going back, and I will order a second iBosi.

great for mirroring, not streaming
the purpose of us purchasing this device was to stream movies on our tv, this device works okay, satisfied the very basic needs however when streaming on your phone like using popcorn time to mirror the tv it buffers way too much, very difficult to use for streaming purposes. great product if you are looking to just simply mirror your screen then this is good product for you, for streaming not so much.
