Plain, sturdy, compostable. We had a large potluck party and used these plates. They held curry, fried chicken, salad, bread, no problem. And then we tossed them in our green compost bin that the garbage company supplies.

Great plates

I am not one to put dishes in the dishwasher right away, so dishes pile up in the sink, depressing. Now that I am using the disposable plates and bowls my sink stays more clear and so does the counter. I find I am washing the other items more often, as it is easier to get to the sink. And I love the idea that the plates and bowls are biodegradable. I still use the dishwasher, just to keep it working.
