very helpful
It made it so much easier to scrape. We counted 6 layers from before 1980. It did not take everything off, but it was so much easier to scrape. The photos show results of using a paint scraper knife only. We will still use the drill metal wire brushes to fully clean it up, but this has saved so much time. Makes it faster to finish the fence panel without having to make so much noise with the drill bit. We only use the drill from 10-3 pm so not to bother the neighbors with so much noise. Also I can work on the fence and scrape it before 10:00 am or after 3pm since it makes no noise and get the panel ready for the drill for the next day.Great on the fancy "flower" for lack of a better word, a lot of the paint came off. Will have to do a second coat on that one, but it was much easier to clean up.Glad I tried it.

It needs to strip powder coat paint
I open up the bottle pored some out and painted it on came back about 20 min latter it didn't do anything. I new it wouldn't work back to the grinder and wire brush I pored the cup back in the bottle and I remembered didn't shake it up so I shook it and poured some out looked different painted some on the frame went inside to get a drink came back out and the paint was all wrinkles and falling off. I am sold it worked great I still had to do some wire brushing but what a time saver. It cleaned the frame all the way to bare steel. It made the hard to get areas like joints easy. The key to this product working is shake it up and you will save so much time and energy. Thanks for a great product.

Drip-free it is not, but it works
I give this a 3.5 out of 5. I am a big fan of Sunnyside Multi-strip, but I wanted something faster. I tried Jasco and Klean Strip's "safer" strippers, but they smelled awful and barely took off 1 layer. So, I tried this one. It is faster, but it is not nearly as thick as the other Sunnyside strippers, so it does not "cling" to vertical surfaces. I think it would be a lot better on a horizontal surface, but I am working on a door frame. Because it is not drip-free, the coverage is not even; lower sections that caught drips showed more progress than sections closer to the top. What I started doing was covering the stripper-brushed areas with wax paper to "hold" the stripper in place, which seemed to help. The stripper does stay wet longer, as I noticed areas where I had stripped last night were still a little wet this morning without the wax paper. Again, it does work, and I will use it, but unlike its fellow Sunnyside stripper products, it's penchant for dripping does not make it the best option for vertical surfaces. However, it does make it possible to strip in 4 hours instead of the normal 8 hours for the multi-strip.

Worked on-basement NEED TO KNOW TIPS!!!
Pricing.Compared to some other products. You get almost twice as much for about 10$ more. So more bang for your buck.UnboxingI ordered 7 gallons. 6/7 gallons arrived perfectly sealed. One did arrive with a little bit of leaking. But still worked fine. How to ApplyI seen plenty of ways to apply this product through YouTube videos. I opted for the large paint brush. But I seen other using paint rollers. Someone even said a spray paint gun?Amount to applyThe you tube videos said a generous amount. And when they mean generous amount. They mean it!!!!It should be almost dripping down the wall!!!!Comparing generous amount applied.Everyone has a different idea of generous amount. I opted for two different options to see which one worked betterOption 1- completely cover the wall, cannot see the paint anymore. (I thought this was a generous amount.)Results- not great. Dried white. A lot of heavy duty scrapping. And had to apply a second layer again once done and then even more scrapping offoption 2- and I mean this in the most literal way possible. DRIPPING/ RUNNING down the wall.Results- much better. Dried a darker green. Scrapping pieces came off in bigger amounts with less effortRemovingI went for the scrapper option. It was a good amount of effortDefiantly labor intensive!!!!Do NOT believe the easy scrape right off videos.Other options I seen were wired brushingCoverageOne gallon worked best on 6ft height X 4ft width wallTIPS TO REMEMBERIf it isnt dripping down the wall when applied. Apply more. And thank me later!Quick dry. Does NOT include the long tedious amount of time it takes to paint on.Or the even longer and harder scrapping offColorsit came in a light green color when applyingResults/ dryingOption 1- dried whiteOption 2- dried a slightly darker green, but still looked wet almost like a gel color (make sure it’s this color when removing)Prepare for a long day/ week with this. It may be quick dry. But unless you have fancy equipment for this. It’s going to be a long and labor intensive day/ week applying and removingWear gloves. And safety glasses.Gloves-My cement basement walls were not nice smooth and flat. They were bumpy. And the scrapper hitting the bumps and coming to a complete stop before hitting my hands without gloves the first day was not fun.Safety glasses- a lot of debrisfalling off as you scrape. Keep your eyes safe

Multi-strip: NOT as advertised
Pros: Water clean up, relatively skin safe, doesn’t eat through thick nitrile/rubber gloves very fastCons: Takes MUCH more than advertised to get job done, SMELLS awful1) NOT low odor. I’m working in a single car, detached garage with the overhead and entry doors open at opposite ends, and a box fan running to encourage cross breeze, on a beautiful 70°F, sunny, breezy day, and I was getting overwhelmed by the odor. I would absolutely NOT use this stuff inside.2) Does NOT remove 12 coats of paint. I have >60yo wood doors with 4 coats of paint on top of what I think is a pigmented varnish, sent as part of a bet between deities as to who can make me give up and go live as a mountain hermit. The paint took 2 thick applications to remove (the 1st - overnight covered in plastic). The single layer of varnish took another 2 applications (again, overnight covered in plastic).Pro Tip: mist it with water when you scrape it off.3) 2 sides of 1 interior (4-panel style) door has taken 3/4 gallon, and I only did a 4th application on the detailed/inset/hard to sand molding parts.I’ll finish the gallon on the next door, but will not repurchase.
