Hallucinations be aware!
I have taken another brand of L-theanine for a while, at a lower strength! I thought I would try these; at first, it felt no different, but as soon as I shut my eyes—wow, I was taken to another galaxy. Hallucinations and dreams kept me awake most of the night; it was not a great experience! Hence, the lower rating; I have returned them.

Definitely has the calming effects that I was looking for. I have since been able to quit my 100mg Sertraline tablets in replacement for these, and some other supplements.I echo someone else’s comment on the dreams. I have honestly struggled to tell the difference between real life and what a dream is. Needless to say, I’m getting more.

This is the one I always come back to....
I've been trying various sources for L-theanine and reviews are always mixed much like the recommendations on how to use it. I go around the houses so to speak and try different things. I still haven't found my perfect sweet spot but can definitely say I've experienced good results at times. I think there's a lot of variables and bioavailability is a varying factor. I also wish there was more regulation so you know you're getting what you pay for as currently anyone can claim to be selling L-theanine in any strenth they choose to and there's no knowing one way or another. With that said, of all the available L-theanine on amazon this seems to be the one I gravitate back to and have bought multiple times. Take from that what you will.

Stops caffeine jitters
I've grown used to supplements being overhyped and not doing what they're reported to do, but I'm really glad I gave this a try.Working shifts, I tend to consume a lot of caffeine, which results in jitters, erratic attention and a nervous energy. Just one of these tablets stops those jitters and helps keep me calm, composed and more focused.
