I was contemplating a gift for someone, and it struck me to buy this puzzle. Initially, I was a bit hesitant because, well, giving a puzzle can be somewhat ordinary. However, I've liked this one in particular due to the metallic effect, size, and the assembled figure—it's a standout.

The finished product comes out extremely detailed and intricate, but keep in mind that a lot of effort and fine motor skills are needed to put this together. Some of the pieces are smaller than circuit-board components, and even then you are expected to fold and/or roll them! For this model I would definitely recommend the metal-model toolkits which have a tool for making rounded surfaces, and for twisting the tabs which are smaller than a grain of rice. I had neither of those tools and it took me over 7 hours to assemble this model from start to finish. Plus, some of the instructions are not even physically possible. You can't put a 90-degree twist on a tab that is just millimeters away from the flat surface across from it, yet the directions often ask for these types of miracles. I bought it as a gift but I had no idea how much work it would take to assemble; if I hadn't done it myself it would never have come out of the box. So, great model if you are obsessed with highly-detailed metal models and have very steady hands.

This was my first 3d metal puzzle. I enjoyed making it, but I broke a piece and had to tape it together. I also had to accept some of my pieces being folded a little weird for the tabs to fit and fold. Some preservation and patience was needed for the especially tricky steps, but I'm happy with how the model came out!

All of their products are fantastic! I'm always so proud when I finish one of the more intricate models. If you're looking for an easy out this is not for you. However, I highly recommend this hobby for anyone with a decent amount of patience and is looking for a creative and relaxing outlet. It's oddly soothing and incredibly rewarding. My only gripe would be that the instructions for this specific model did not have a legend to number the different sheets and pieces. But anyone with a keen eye can easily determine what goes where. All told this model took, roughly, a total of 8 hours over the course of 4 days to complete. 10/10 would recommend. I may even build the newest purple and gold version I recently saw.

This is a moderate model kit, in my opinion. I think the 4/7 stars is a little odd to be honest, but this is fun so far! I'm not quite through it yet, but it's been challenging but not overly difficult. Perhaps the best part is that it came in a very sturdy box - as metal model kit builders know, these often come in bendy cardboard pouches, somewhat warping the sheets. This is ready to go from step 1!

I ordered this to build for my boyfriend. I have bought these types of things before and loved them. When I received my package it was rattling which didn't seem right. When I opened it there were 4 dirty pieces of tape keeping it closed and another over the hole that shows the metal sheets inside. Once I opened the box I found it in multiple, partially assembled pieces and a few of them were messed up or bent. I don't know what happened because there was not a "buy used" option so it should have come new and not built. Still looking to see why it was sent like this but have yet to find one.

This went together really well. I did have a few pieces break, but that always happens. They also had the sheet of labeled parts on a separate sheet, which was FANTASTIC—I wish they all did that.
