It took me time to decide what I wanted. I had built a way of installing my three Dell U2718Q 27" monitors using their provided stands, a wood platform on top of a ROCELCO stand up desk adaptor that I had set on my IKEA desks. See enclosed picture. This system was bulky and heavy. Then I started researching for monitors stands. The following were my rules:1. Take three (3) 27" monitors and be capable of setting the outside monitors at 45 degrees to the center monitor.2. Adjustment of relative position of each monitor to compensate for sagging and other issues.3. Easy and firm adjustment of each individual monitor so that after I get them placed, they do not move. That means that I can set friction level on the joints.4. Easy adjustment of height of the monitors was not necessary. I do engineering work and generally I need my monitors at a certain height and all level to the eye. I wanted something that will keep the height of the three monitors at a fixed position. If you want to adjust height level at will while sitting at the desk, it is not the stand for it. To do it safely, you need to remove the monitors.5. Sturdy and light.6. Decent cable management.7. Black color and invisible arms from my sitting position. I love that single post. The monitors look like they are hoovering in space.8. Reasonable price. I did not want to sell the monitors to by the stand.The VIVO stand meet all these requirements with flying colors. It is not perfect but close to it. All structures deflect, but this stand allows adjustment between the monitors to compensate for the sagging of the arms. Please see the pictures. Whoever designed this stand, thought about that. As you can see from the pictures, is as perfect as you can be on aligning the monitors and they are set at 45 degrees. you can see that against the molding on the windows. No sagging of the screens. If you see the side picture, you can see the sagging of the arms but you compensate with the adjustment on the position of the monitors. These monitors are light, about 4-5 pounds but I believe you can adjust the position to compensate for the larger deflection on heavier monitors. The main adjustment is done with the height adjustment of the middle monitor. that has about 2" of travel up or down plus a spherical joint that will give you freedom in any axis to adjust rotation and angularity on the middle monitor. That is the main secret to do a perfect match on aligning the monitors and well thought out. The side monitors have a small height adjustment of about a 1/4" up.For assembly, the instructions are documented in a reasonable way. Would have preferred to have a better guidance on what is up side or down side on the main arm and the secondary arms. The main arm is the most important because the vertical adjustment of the middle monitor can be set in the wrong direction and you may not have the travel. Be careful when you slide the main arm on the vertical stand, you can scratch the paint on the stand. It is metal to metal. I increased the friction on the joints before I assembly the stand. That helps keeping things in position and you do not hit things or pinch your fingers. With so many joints it can run away from you. It is like trying to keep an spaghetti straight. I used the clamp to set it on the ROCELCO stand desk adaptor, but I put a piece 12" long of 1 x 2 fir. under the top so it will spread the load a little better and give to the top some thickness. A 1 x 4 would be better but I wanted this done quickly and did not have a piece available. It is a little wobbly when you have some good music in the background and you start tapping the ROCELCO stand desk adaptor. The nice thing is that the monitors survive and keep position. I have not tried to fold down the desk adaptor. I am worry that it can drop fast because the two air cylinders could not hold the load. Maybe in the future I will go fancy and get a powered one. The cable management work relatively well if you follow an order to install the cables through the vertical stand. Remove the plastic cap on top of the stand and slide the cables. Install the power cables first because they have bigger plugs at the end. Then insert the video cables after. It is tight. I did not reinstall the cap. The opening is too small in diameter. You need a 12 mm socket wrench to increase friction on the spherical joint on the middle monitor. It is not provided. I think I used all the parts because I did not have any spare parts left. For now, I am very happy with the set up and for the price of a dinner you got something useful. I tip my hat to VIVO. Let's see what time tells us. Keep safe.

Great product for the price I currently have two 24” monitors and one 27” in the center. I had some difficulty aligning the monitors to where I wanted them but after using the tools that were included in the box I got everything aligned for the price you can’t beat it! I was pretty skeptical after reading some of the reviews about the center monitor not staying but I had no problems with aligning my center monitor where I wanted.

Install:- Two 32" panels, 1 27" panel.- Two task lights- Installed on an IKEA desktopPros:- Sturdy, thick materials.- Easy to assemble.- No gas tubes to wear out/fail.- Integrated wire management works well for a neater install, and has enough room for all the cables. I was able to run the cables for monitor signal, power, webcam, and two lights through the post.- All VESA mounts are included.- Low price.Cons:- Very limited adjustment capability for monitors up and down. You may not be able to get exact, ruler-straight alignment of all three monitors. If you are a person who will be annoyed by looking at your monitors being 1/8" out of alignment, keep looking and be ready to spend more.- If you are looking to move your monitors a lot, this isn't the setup for you. It allows you to get the monitors into place, but moving them around (or raising/lowering any significant amount) is a lot of effort.Important to know before buying:Having three monitors installed and hanging from a post puts a pretty good amount of force down on the desktop. If you have a desktop from IKEA (or another lightweight/inexpensive desktop) it's highly likely that it's constructed like a hollow core door -- material is present around the edges of the desk but in the middle there's some paper honeycomb, so it's not really up to the task of supporting the concentrated weight of three monitors pushing down at the far edge.If you have a desk like this, what you need to do is to spread out the load over the desk. I did this with some scrap lumber I had hanging around the house -- I made an extended base (and painted it), and put a small length of wood under the desk, then screwed the assembly together from beneath for a nice finished look. I also added a couple of lag bolts through the two holes on the back that just happened to be in the right place. The difference was night and day. On initial install the post was visibly tilting and kind of terrifying. Once I added the reinforcement, the post stood up tall and the monitors were hanging correctly.If you don't have the access/ability to make what I did, it looks like the manufacturer makes a similar kit for $20 ("VIVO Black Steel Reinforcement Bracket Mount Plate for Thin, Glass, and Other Fragile Table Tops"). If you don't know if your desktop is hollow or solid, the best way to know is by weight: If you can easily carry your desktop, it's likely to be hollow. If your desktop is solid (e.g. made of MDF or solid wood), your desk's is probably pretty heavy.

I have 3 Dell S2522HG monitors mounted to mine currently and it wobbles less than the stands that some monitors come with from the factory. The mounting plates fit my monitors that have a mounting bracket opening only slightly wider than the VESA holes.If using monitors on the smaller side of the suggested size, the arms have to fold back further than the post and get stopped by the wall.The cable management through the post is enough to hold the power and display cables, but not much beyond that if using multiple display cables for each monitor or USB hub cables.The middle monitor has a height adjustment to compensate for different monitor heights as well as the natural sag from the outer monitors. The overall arm height adjustment is definitely easier without the monitors mounted.

I think this monitor stand is pretty robust and would hold up for years but I have some issues that Vivo should fix.1. The parts are not labeled well in the manual and the screw bags don't have stickers2. The main post and one of the arms had deep scratches3. Some of the arms were too tight to adjust and some were super loose.
