Great price. Great sound. Microphone a bonus. Radio works awesome. Bluetooth works awesome.
Ordered this from Best buy brand new for more than double the price. Then I saw Amazon renewed like new price and was blown away. Added 3 year warranty for 6 bucks. Device came in. Tested it. Sounds really good. Radio works amazing no additional antenna needed. No issues Bluetooth. Charged up great. Comes with uSB c. Comes with microphone. Microphone works great. I don't need another but I might get one just to have a second and or to make a stereo sound connection. I never opened Best buys and returned it immediately. Even turned up this item sounds great. Lightweight. Buttons look like they can handle some light water and elements. Builtin handle. Has a boom button for extra bass and sound. Has EQ options which I haven't tried yet.

Good speaker but…
Speaker sounds great and loud enough to fill maybe 50+ people indoors. Price is not bad due to it being renewed. No issues with battery and lasted long enough for our 5 hour event although not continuously.Everything works great except the bluetooth connection. It disconnects intermittently and this was the main purpose of purchasing it. To be able to connect iphone wired with no problem. I may just got a bad one but unfortunately it was needed for that event.

I’m seeing now why so many refurbished units are available. There seems to be a bug in the firmware of Sport Boom that causes the mic volume buttons to skip music tracks instead, as if you hit the wrong buttons.At least I got two ION speakers to link in stereo for the first time.But I like that these 15-hr batteries are much more lightweight than the 75-hr batteries of the XL ION models. And that they charge with USB-C instead of wall outlets.And the remote volume app easily sleeps and disconnects. So there I was, with the smartphone attached to my handlbars, with the speakers in the bike trailer, tapping through the menu on the app while riding, to get the mechanical volume remote back online, to adjust the DJ mic on the karoake channel.
