If you live on Staten Island, NYC This is the best Product for your back yard ! and bought a small 56oz Handheld Multi-Purpose Pump Sprayer i mix a 20:1 ratio = 4 refills . its a nice 8oz bottle. i spray mine at night so the smell over night leaves its mid-strong Oder but it works!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I’ve been using this product for the past 3 years. A little bit goes a long way and it keeps my yard bug free all summer long. Effectiveness:Tick and fleas have pretty much become non existent. Value for money:Takes very little to make a gallon of product.

Bought this after using a bottle of name brand for the start of summer camp…figured this would be more cost effective. Diluted as instructions called for and sprayed down all the clothes I had for camp in the woods. Seven weeks in the woods with no mosquito bites and only one or two ticks noted all summer. At one point I even watched a tick crawl toward me on the concrete and as it got close to my treated boots, it turned around and started heading away. (I didn’t let it get too far. Didn’t want it bothering others.)

Permethrin is a common product to do soaks for your clothing for camping gear and mosquito prevention. This particular product has petroleum distillates which make it not good for clothing. I'm on my third wash trying to get the gasoline smell out of my clothing. Bummer! There are other brands that don't have the petroleum distillates in them. My error for sure, but beware.

Buying concentrate is a much better value than buying the little spray bottles of 0.5% Permethrin. This is 10%, so diluted 20:1, an 8 ounce bottle will make 160 ounces, or almost a gallon of ready-to-use solution. That works out to 12 cents an ounce, as opposed to 75 cents/ounce for a 24 ounce bottle of Sawyer 0.5% spray for clothing. I spray it on my hiking pants, shirts, shoes, and socks, and I also spray some around the base of my house, to prevent ants from climbing up the side.

This stuff is gold!!! Fleas, grasshoppers, spiders all gone! I’ve tried so many products and spent so much money!!! This is the only thing that has worked. Going on 3 weeks of no issues

This worked quick and effectively in ridding our carpenter bees. Just used a little bit in a spray bottle mixed with water and the bees started dropping.
