It is a great product, and it works. Finally, while travelling my family can enjoy netflix, disney, youtube and amazon prime video. Since I have a great sorround sound, it's perfect.

This device will allow your car stereo to use Android auto and display Netflix, Amazon video and other apps. Your car stereo needs to be compatible with Apple Car play or Android Auto. You connect this device to the USB port that is enabled for Car play or Android Auto and it will display on the screen like your phone would.I hooked it up in my 2024 Bronco and got it working okay. The one thing I noticed right off the bat and the reason for the rating is the thing is super slow in connecting and in responding to screen taps. Just tapping the settings gear icon to set up the network connection to my phones hot spot was painfully slow.I couldn't find a way to change the layout of the home screen so it seems you have to live with what is there. You can't remove icons either. I wanted to remove a couple installed items and a popup message said it was pre installed so could not delete. Too bad. I wish it was open to delete/additions of whatever app would work on your phone would work here.The device is nice and small so it can be tucked away out of site easily. Phone calls worked, texts worked, I was able to start a movie and it played good, no lagging or skipping. Its a pretty cool little device and can make long waits sitting in the car somewhere more enjoyable.It came nicely packaged and includes 2 short cables. USB C to USB C and USB A to USB C.One other thing I noticed is it wouldn't auto connect back up to my phones hot spot but....I am not blaming this device for that. I have always had issues with any iPhone I have ever had and the way the hot spot works. Even my iPad won't just reconnect on demand even though it is set to auto connect so maybe you will have better luck with that. Not auto connecting means you have to manually connect though the device settings on this unit and that means dealing with the slow lag times of the operating system on this thing.

This product was easy to setup, simply plug in and go. This is the only device I currently connect and use in my car for entertainment whilst driving. Fully satisfied and recommend to buy.

this thing was listed as a Pairr Max Pro. but what you get is a generic thing that looks that same. has no logo or any of the manufacturers info or anything on it. not even sure if its the same thing. but its the same price as an official one. nobody to contact about it. other than returning it. theres nothing else you can do with it. seems to work, but its a rip off for selling me a generic unit with false advertising.

I’ve been trying out this CarPlay adapter in my 2016 F-150 for the past few days, and it’s definitely a nice upgrade from the stock Sync setup. Getting it going was straightforward. I plugged it into the USB port, and it recognized my Samsung phone right away (yeah, I’m one of those Android folks). What really surprised me was how handy the built-in Netflix and YouTube apps are. Obviously, I’m not watching videos while driving, but when I’m parked waiting around, especially with the kids in the back, it’s a great way to pass the time. Just a note, you’re limited to the apps it comes with, but they’re the ones most people use anyway.As far as performance, it’s been really reliable. Music, maps, calls... it all runs smoothly without any lag or hiccups. The connection’s been rock solid so far. I also like that it’s small and easy to stash out of the way, so it doesn’t make a mess of the console area.All in all, this adapter has made a noticeable difference in how I use my navigation and music. If you're looking to ditch the cables and go wireless, while getting an upgrade, this might be a good way to make that jump.
