Not Legos but just as good for the price!
Grandson loved the blocks. Yeah, not quite the quality of Legos, but he was building stuff just as easy and enjoying them immensely. With the price of Legos these days, this was a far better value for the money with easily 3 times the pieces.Seller was great with timely delivery and item as described!

Great keeping the littles preoccupied
The nephews loved making all the various vehicles. They wanted to build everything without deconstructing any of the previous builds, but some pieces were shared across several diagrams. They kept coming back to make something and the younger ones played with the completed items. Fun was had by them all with minimal arguing. LOL

REQUESTED
My grand son and grand daughter requested blocks for Christmas. I purchased these for them and they love how many pieces there are. The blocks are very durable and exactly what they asked for.

I love these things
I really haven't found anything to really dislike about these yet and we've bought about 11 bags or so now throughout the last 6 years and we play with them every day and I still don't have any complaints.I blueprint houses and to lots of people thats just a bunch of lines and symbols on paper that holds no meaning, so yes I'm a dork and still childish enough to get on the floor with the kids and build the house I just blueprinted it really brings a floor plan to life for some people lol. They match really well with all the other Lego and off brand bricks we have. Good color variety and variety of shapes and sizes. All around I won't say anything bad about these bricks other then the fact that I now need a 55gal tote to keep them all in but that just makes the kids happy.

Really nice, colorful, Lego type blocks
We just got ours a few days ago, and upon opening we (my 5yr old grandson and me) were pleasantly surprised by the individual wrapping of block sets to build things from the booklet. Super awesome!!Since there’s so many though we put all the LEGO blocks together. We’re good at LEGO building so it’s no biggie lol plus we’ve added onto our tables and have built some creative homes and spaces! Love these types of activities. I enjoy seeing my grandkids creativity come to light!I definitely recommend to any and all parents and grandparents, guardians of any sort!!!

Not what I expected!
UPDATE: The booklet says for ages 6 and up. I want to meet the 6 year old who would NOT get frustrated trying to find the pieces and get all the blocks to stick together to complete a project! Could be fun for a parent-child project, I suppose. I think the blocks are more geared to about a 10-12 year old.I decided to open the bags and try to do some of the projects shown in the enclosed booklet to see if they were actually do-able. My first suggestion is that you get separate boxes or containers to put each color of block in and take the time to separate them because you need items from several bags to make a project and it is time consuming trying to find each necessary piece. Second, don't lose the little tool to pry the blocks apart. The blocks either stick together very tightly - or - depending on size - fall off easily when you are building the project. If you don't have the tool, be prepared to use a tiny screwdriver or your fingernail. The diagrams in the book are very helpful, but I would suggest picking out all the pieces you need for your project first, then attempt to build it. I consider myself a pretty patient person, but I got very frustrated at first. I was tempted to swear like a longshoreman at the beginning, but mellowed out as I went along. The 6 small projects I did took a little over 3 hours. I did NOT attempt any of the larger projects. I'm in my 70's and wasn't sure I would live that long! The box contained 7 bags, 3 of which I opened and 4 shown in the last picture. The first bag contained 133 black, clear and red pieces - 13 of which were what I would consider an average "Lego type block". They are in the lower left corner of the picture. The other 120 pieces were tiny and flat (very thin), or round accessory type pieces. At the top are 10 tires. The second picture shows 127 grey, pink and light green pieces - 42 of which I would consider average or close to average of "Lego type blocks". The rest were thin, flat type pieces or very small one hole pieces. The third bag contained 144 white, orange and blue pieces - 32 of which I would consider average or close to average size "Lego type blocks". So, out of 404 pieces I counted, there were less than 90 that were 1/2 inch high and had either 1, 2 or 3 holes on the bottom. What surprised me was, at the time I ordered, I looked at some of the reviews and 76% of the people gave them high ratings. The ad also stated "free returns", so I went ahead and bought them. I have contacted the people 3 times about returning the blocks as they aren't appropriate for the child I planned to give them to.The first contact told me I could pay $6. and return them for a refund, which I refused as it said "free returns". The second contact said that I could return them at my cost and for a refund of the purchase price or they would give me 50% off. I said that I wanted a full refund and did not want to pay for returning them. The 3rd contact from the company said I could have a 50% refund and keep the blocks. I want ALL my money back, so I have also contacted Amazon, and am waiting for a reply. My suggestion.....don't buy this set unless you are looking to make tiny projects and want LOTS of little "accessory" pieces.
